During the open beta every server is free. From January 1, 2027, a plan covers one household: one server, everyone you invite and every screen they watch on, with no limit on streams.

Preorder before December 31 and keep the founders’ price.
Choose a plan now. Your card is charged on January 1, 2027, not before, and the plan starts then. Cancel before that day from your account and nothing is charged.

PreorderPreordering opens your Leyla account: sign in with your email (a one-time link, no password), then choose the plan. Payments are handled by Polar. Prices are in US dollars.
Every plan includes

- Details and artwork without keys TMDB, TVmaze, fanart.tv and OMDb through Leyla’s gateway.
- Packs X-ray’s faces, transcripts, search by meaning, Riff and the subtitle languages, downloaded to your server.
- Leyla’s cloud for backups Sealed copies only your recovery code opens.

Yours to keep
After twelve paid months, the server and the apps at the version you have are yours to keep running, plan or not. New versions, the metadata gateway, packs and Leyla’s cloud need an active plan.
If a plan ends
Your server keeps playing everything it already has. It stops adding new titles until there is a plan again. Your data is always yours: export works with or without a plan.

What happens on January 1 if I haven’t chosen a plan?
Your server keeps playing what it has and stops adding new titles until you choose one. Nothing is deleted, and everyone’s history and lists stay.
Is there a free trial after the beta?
Yes. From January 1, a new server starts on its own: 5 days, or 60 days once it is linked to your email. No card.
What counts as a household?
One Leyla server and everyone you invite to it. There is no cap on people or screens. Selling access to your server is not allowed.
Can I change or cancel a preorder?
Yes, from your account at licence.leyla.media. Before January 1 nothing has been charged.
Do I need my own films?
Yes. Leyla plays your own collection, as files on your computer or NAS. It has no catalogue of its own and sells or rents nothing.
Does the price ever go up for founders?
A yearly founders’ plan keeps its price for as long as it renews. The five-year founders’ price covers the first five years.
